1) someone to wrap my hastily bought presents
2) someone to go grocery shopping for me
3) someone to decorate my tree
4) some extra days off work
5)and to watch the Christmas Day Bake Off special..

It hit 78 here in Miss today and right now it is still 73. Christmas lights are on and does look Christmassy but wearing cutoffs and a t-shirt is not the norm for this northern gal.

I want my Christmas cookies to have arrived in Jersey before they spoil. But Santa used USPS this year and priority isn't working :thumbdown:

I have sausage rolls and mince pies now.

It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas, with the A/C blowing and the oven throwing out heat and Santa on a fire truck.

We have about 3' of it piled up in our front yard right now, which you're more than welcome to.

Personally I'd like

1) no snow, because we've had enough of it already
2) some form of cake
3) more than one day off work but I'm too late now
4) a nice lie in
5) peace and quiet

If I can get 3 of these 5, I'll call it a success :D

Just finished talking with my daughter in New York who is off all of next week. She is delighted that she works for a British company in Westchester who closes down the entire operations for the week between Xmas and New Year's. On Friday they are taking all the employees to lunch on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx for an Italian Christmas lunch and last Thursday came around with gifts for everyone and a bonus.

No food.
Tree is decorated with the help of grandbaby and her grandad. It is a colourful mish mash!
I have wangled off Tuesday next week so I will have one extra day, yeah me.
And the Daily Mail is giving out spoilers on the Bake Off. I'm not amused:thumbdown:

You might need a few trucks, we've quite a bit in our yard.

A lot of it will melt before the end of the week, if the temperatures I've heard are on the way turn out to be true, so he might want to get a move on.

I've not exactly completed my xmas shopping yet, let alone wrap them all yet. I've still got 3 people to go :unsure:

I'm gonna be taking a sneaky trip to the mall today to try and remedy this. I hope it leads to a wacky Jingle all the way adventure that ends up in a Parade. I suspect it will however just end up with rage, disappointment and panic and possibly an arrest.

We got snow, come take as much as you need.... please.
