Just realised today that I calculated the dates wrong and I am already eligible to apply for US citizenship. I thought I had a whole year left to think about it. I'll probably go for it, I can't see myself moving back to Britain, even to retire. I guess I'll brush up on the questions they ask.

Wait until your biometrics appointment, they give you the book of questions and answers. I saw some places on the internet with the supposed questions and to be honest I don't think all of them are accurate.
