Advice please

I am a UK citizen and my Fiance is a US citizen.
I want to have my child in the US so my fiance can be at the birth and my child will have citizenship.
We want to get married in the UK before the baby is born so that i can get a visa to join him in US.
But, if i give birth in the US whilst my marriage visa is being processed does that mean i will be deported back to the UK after the baby is born without my husband?

If your fiance is a US citizen, it is very likely that the child will automatically be a US citizen even if not born in the US. Giving birth in the US will be *VERY* expensive.

Your fiance will need a visa to get married in the UK. Regardless, even if you married today, you'll probably not have a visa before the baby is born.

No. But you should seriously reconsider giving birth in the US. Without health insurance, giving birth in the US could very easily bankrupt you.

Ditto on everything Ian said regarding the immigration stuff and how expensive medical care is in the States, even with insurance.

As for your baby automatically obtaining US citizenship if born outside the US, in addition to your fiance needing to meet the requirements to pass on his US citizenship to his children, he must also be the biological father of your baby. It's not clear from your post whether this is the case.

Giving birth in the US without health insurance could easily cost you $10,000 if not more.
