I was in the Post Office yesterday, there was a lady there I vaguely know who has just been given notice that her last part time job will be finishing this week.

She has the CC and Mortgage Co on her back already, no money for health insurance and has been going through the mortgage rate adjustment process for 3 years.

She may have a different view.

If you employ illegals then sudden departures are just one of the risks you take on board.

When 9% of the workforce cannot find a job, I think companies who are employing illegal workers should feel the full force of the law.

Why should we have sympathy for those who choose to ignore the system and do things via the proper route? I came to the US legally, I paid the fees, waited patiently, followed the law!

EVERY STATE should have the balls to pass laws to tackle illegal immigrants effectively.

If there was a line of out of work people lining up outside these places asking for work I might agree with you.

There might be a line now, unless they employ another illegal.

Mr. Harold and other H-2A farmers said that most of the local residents who tried field work this summer, for example, were Hispanic, many of whom, they said, had probably immigrated in years past for agricultural work before taking better-paid jobs in construction or landscaping.
That is certainly the case in Colorado, very difficult if you are in Construction and get undercut all the time.
