Some of the kids have apparently apologized (good parents). Mob mentality/peer pressure, ya know. But shocking none the less.

Southwest Airlines has also provided her with with airfare and a trip to Disney (not sure if its land or world though).

It's shame there wasn't someone on the bus that wasn't prepared to slap one of kids so hard he cried all the way home. That would have put an end to it right away. It's not an assault as they were sexually harassing the woman so any action would be a defence.

As usual I think most apologies were in the vein of "sorry I got caught", and Wow this blew up in my face. However they are young and rash. A little time served in a senior center seems to be in order. And maybe a visit from grandma to watch the video with them.:thumbsup:

Interesting you should say that. I was talking to my daughter about her kids a few weeks ago and she was saying pretty much the same things. When she catches them up to no good, they say "sorry" and seem to think that's it. She said their always shocked when she with-holds their allowance or grounds them. It's always, "Mom, I said I was sorry."

I watched it and was horrified. Promptly launched into a lecture with the stinky teens how if I ever found out they did something like that I would beat them to within an inch of their lives, and I have NEVER laid a finger on my kids.

I know that if I got a visit from a cop showing me my kids on a video like that, the conversation would go :

'Officer, I think you may want to leave the room because what I am about to do will result in you arresting me'

'I will be sitting in my car ma'am. let me know when you're done' ;)

There are some calls for her to give back $15k - her annual salary - as she wasn't capable of doing her job as a bus monitor. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-...b_1618995.html (and others).

I've had that discussion too.

"Sorry" is not like a papal indulgence, and it's not a ticket that allows you to offend as long as you say "sorry" afterwards.
