Re: 4th of July Celebrations
whatever you do, do NOT add pickled or even hardboiled eggs to the above menu or you will be providing your own fireworks.

We will be down in Santa Cruz going to Laguna Seca to watch the MotoGP bike racing.
Whilst away I will mostly I will be worrying about the neighbours burning down my house with their fireworks...

Re: 4th of July Celebrations
GM, Chrysler, AIG, Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac bancrupt, Lehman Bros. Wachovia, etc all gone...but one thing about Messiah Obama- he has not given in to repeated calls for "budgetary constraints"...even after his trillion $$ bail out (plus Bushito's $700 billion, plus another 2 trillion in newly printed $$ from the fed).

Re: 4th of July Celebrations
Mark and I both have the day off on Friday (he works Saturday; damn retailers), and we'll probably do a movie marathon. We've got a stack of DVDs (some of which we've had for 2-3 years) that we've never watched so we have made a promise not to buy any more until we watch the ones we have. Some of the DVDs we still need to watch are:
Crash
The Last King of Scotland
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (two-disc edition)
Traffic
Star Trek Captain's Log: Fan Collective
The Aviator
The Prestige
The Last Samuri
(We actually saw the last two films at the cinema, but we haven't seen the special DVD features. We love watching all that stuff!)
Gotta remember to buy some popcorn before Friday!!

supposed to be shite weather here anyway, so probably hiding inside...be nice if the fireworks the next town over aren't cancelled, they probably will be though, but they usually have a good show on.

We're not allowed fireworks, apparently people in Illinois can't be trusted with anything that has a real amount of powder in it.
