I don't see much chance Biden can win, it's unfortunate and the US will suffer long term.

But it's pushed me enough to get Canadian Citizenship, so will be applying soon. (been eligible for years now) so I have a more secure future in the event the US continues down this path.

Oh Bevs if we could, we would go to NZ, nothing keeping us in Canada really anymore either...lol

Already applied for my Canadian citizenship. Probably be almost a year for it to process, what with most of them working from home because of covid.

Yes J. I was asking someone over there ( living top leftish per a US map) about this as it was my hope also.

Look - Everyone emigrate to NZ. We got sensible here atm.
I do like your PM. She seems quite on the ball and a very decent sort.

Worse yet, he wouldn't stay quietly either. He would double down on all of his crap and the U.S. would risk becoming a police state. He really is a wannabe Mussolini. He does have a balcony to wave from.

Yup. We can agree to differ. I'm more socialist & left wing. You are conservative & republican . So unlikely to meet.

It isn't about if Dems made a right choice of leadership , which lets face it, is from a shallow pool and up against utter filth. To write that Dems will have only themselves to blame is a deflection, a victimisation and I suppose what I kind of object to. Trump is more than showing himself to come from the bottom of a decaying turd , to be frank , and yet people are all hailing this as the next coming .

The point is that individuals should be only and primarily looking at Trump and Pence and really, really thinking NO NO NO . Not 4 more years of that crud. I quote a certain someone who suggested he was a "Lame Duck President". Oh no he wasn't and isn't. I never thought he was. He brings End Days for many.

If it was not for the daft electoral college and the types of ideology that Sultan and Dakota and Lion mention I would certainly think he would be booted off this solar system and more but it seems that many people are not for community or social structures for the good of a nation and its land and this one world. They are for themselves, so will overlook this utter disgusting admin and vote for it.

Look what there was and now look what there is. It should be no contest even if Dems put up a scarecrow.

He is definitely a Mussolini. What worries me is that he's emboldened the far right to produce a more competent fascist to replace him.

Nevada, Arizona and Maine would bring another 21 electoral votes, and all 3 look likely. Pennsylvania will likely not be called until tomorrow, there are mail in ballots I think yet to be counted. It could flip. Not sure about Michigan or Wisconsin, both look not great. Will go down to the wire either way.

Michigan has in no way tabulated all the votes in Detroit, so hope exists. In Wisconsin, Milwaukee still with loads of outstanding votes and that info should come in the next few hours.

I hate to say it, but if Trump loses, some degree of civil war could be in the cards, given the heavily armed nitwits that are part of his base.

Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are what won it for Trump last time. They need to go the other way or he'll win again.

Given the two main candidates we were handed this year though I'd hold off on agreeing if hope will ever exist again.

Trump is now speaking to a bunch of Trumpkin fools. Of course he is accusing the Dems of trying to steal the election. I cannot believe how much I hate the moronic dipshit.

Jesus, now he says they are going to the Supreme Court to stop any further ballot counting. F'ng arsehole. The Supreme Court had better knock that idea on its arse. This not 2000 in Florida.
