I agree with this. How to antagonize people 101.

Different people have different thoughts. If my kid makes a mess I expect him to clean it up, not to say sorry I made a mistake and walk away. You obviously are a person that likes cleaning up other peoples mess

It's that Anglo-Saxon blood that just hates immigrants and likes to blame other people for their problems. Also the poor often outnumber the rest of the population. I am not sure how bad it is in the UK but I have seen news of food banks. These never existed when I was there.

Well not as long as "that Ulster sense of history" coupled with the idiotic fealty to the Presbyterian Church and the Church of Rome persists

Don't believe it. I saw the changes that had taken place in the UK since I first left in 1972 and on my subsequent visits since then. There was definitely a change for the better in the UK and a much greater feeling of affluence around.

I suspect that some of the bad feeling towards the EU was the perception that Germany was running the show and the Greeks were victims of Merkel's policies. The reality is that the Greeks just aren't capable of handling their own economic affairs. Half of them don't pay any taxes. If the EU had dumped Greece a few years back it could have saved a trillion or so being thrown away on a bunch of dead beats

Some were also afraid of Turkey joining and the potential security problems that may have created with freedom of movement from Turkey

So Donald trump thinks the vote to leave was a great idea. By his statement he has probably incurred the hostility of a key US ally, the European Union. Since he's also now threatened the Chinese and the Muslim world hate him how does this clown hope to be able to effectively create a foreign policy of any description should the awful day come when the idiot moves into the White House ?

He doesn't want much of a foreign policy he's appealing to that portion of the electric that is turning inward just like the brexit vote is turning inward in the UK

Being able to bomb the bad guys is good enough for him
