Hello all

I'm looking for a romantic place, on the luxury side, in Thailand... can anyone recommend where to go? I'm mostly looking for private places, like a private bungalow on the beach or so... Not interested in big skyscape hotels with 400+ rooms.

From what I've seen this type of resorts seems more common in Malaysia and Indonesia? I've no idea why, but that's what I've seen so far... but I rather go to Thailand than Malaysia I think.

If you could give me names on hotels or resorts, bungalows etc that would help a lot or post URL's that I can look up...

Thanks!

I can also be reached on [email protected]

ps. how long does it take by plane from NY to Thailand does anyone know?

You could try The Boathouse at Kata beach, Phuket. Don't remember their url
(boathousephuket or theboathousephuket or the like), but do at little search. Sounds
like you will like that place. Quite, small, very deluxe in an elegant way. Rather
expensive too. "beachhead" <[email protected]> skrev i en meddelelse

Besides the place I stayed, I've got a pic of it on my site, I've heard from another
guy that there's quite a lot of secluded, romantic (down right mushy) places around
Kata. You'll like the stroll along the beach at sun set, head back to a seafood
supper and a glass of wine with your love.

Have a goody.

Stay Frosty,

Broomer

Better then anything in Phuket. Amanpuri might be an exception...

Samui is nice but be aware - it has different (opposite) weather patterns
then Phuket.
