Have a look at the Royal Cliff Hotel, many different sections to it.

Check out Jomtien Beach area, it is close enough to Pattaya for fun, yet far enough away for a quiet...

Hiya! I thought Pattaya was quite a busy resort.

If you have two weeks I'd recommend taking a flight (not expensive at all) to Koh Samui or Koh Tao. There are some lovely peaceful spots on Koh Samui. But it also has a good nightlife if you fancy some action. Koh Tao is very quiet, mostly people go there for diving, its a beautiful island.

Phuket has some lovely beach resorts too.

we spent 3 night in Phi Phi Island. If you like a quiet area try Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island. Don't go to Tonsai Bay because it would be too crowded.

Samui is also very busy and its a shit hole. IMHO. Phi Phi is nice. Butwhy not try Krabi or Railey beach or even Koh Lanta(my favourite). Well better than Samui. Koh Tao is nice though.
