Default NI Contributions - keeping up to date

Will turn 67 in a few years 5 plus. and havent paid any NI contributions for the last couple of years., Apart from that I have paid fully . How can I pay my contributions for the last 2 years and next 5 years to ensure I get the full pension ? I have the cash in the bank asnd was wondering if I should just pay it all off now in advance ?As Im currently out of the UK now its difficult to contact the gov. people. Thanks

Have you checked to see how many years you have already paid and how many you still need? Have you got a Government Gateway account? If not, you will need to register for one.

You can check your state pension here and also click through to see the status of your NI contributions. You can register for a GG account there as well.
