Internet censorship in Thailand

I will be visiting Thailand and Cambodia in January and February 2015 and will need to do Internet banking on British banking websites. Can I access these whilst away?

Almost certainly.

You might get a picture of the king if you try and look at porn though.

No problem at all! I have used the HSBC i-banking with my own laptop many times in the hotel. If you prefer an Internet cafe, do not leave any usernames and passwords on its computer then. Many porn websites are still available here in Thailand or neighbouring countries even though most have been censored over the past few years. Enjoy!
