Death in Thailand
 

My dad has passed away in Thailand after living there for a few years.
he was living in chantaburi with his Thai girlfriend and died at home.
she has told me he has been taken to the local hospital and I need to send her 50,000 Baht for him to be taken to city hospital for an autopsy.
Ive spoken to the British embassy and they said they will ask hospital to send me an invoice.

has anybody had any experience with a death in Thailand or can anybody advice me what procedures in Thailand are?
