Work in USA
 

Hello all, it has always been a dream of mine to live and work in the USA. In 2012 I graduated university and this September I will be doing a one year teaching course to teach in the lifelong learning sector (16+), from 2010 to 2011 I did an internship on a j1 visa in Florida.

I loved my time in America and would like to return in a few years time after I gained some teaching experience. I have a 7 month old daughter as well.

My reason for coming to the forum again is to get your advice on if it would be possible for me to take my daughter and work in the USA, what I need to do or is this just something I should forget?

I have been teaching German in a school in France. How should i find people in USA who are interested in European Languages!

My wife and I are moving to the US to teach in july.

I get a visa through the school and she can be added to it as a dependant so guess it is the same for a child.

I used IBO website. just type in IBO jobs to find a job
International School Services website
And also contacted school areas directly. Problem with getting a US state school job is they won't sponsor your visa like an international school will, therefore you have to sort your own, get your docs attested and then try to get a job which isn't guaranteed.

Its do-able if you work hard at it and have a slice of luck. I've just done it after 3 years of off and on research. I did those 3 things and was lucky to land a position. Just hope it is worth it now!
