Default Will I get a skilled migrant visa

Hi

My partner is moving to Australia in the next 6 weeks and he has obtained a sponsored visa. He is a Quantity surveyor and will be working in Sydney.
I'm a primary school teacher and will be applying for a skilled migrant visa in the next few months. I am a bit worred as primary school teachers are no longer on the critical list and I'm worried that I will be refused.
I did a 4 year degree in business and computers and I did an 18 month post grad in Primary teaching. I have been teaching for 2 years. What are my chances of obtainign a visa. I'm 32 years of age and I dont have an relations in Australia although my partner has cousins in Oz
THanks in advance.

Ditto why are you not on your partners visa? Or apply for a defacto visa if you've been living together for over a year.

You're correct Primary Teachers are no longer on the SOL so wouldn't really be an option at this moment in time. They 'may' come back at some point in the future but could be waiting years.
