Teaching in Oz with GTP

My girlfriend has GTP qualification in UK and we want to Emigrate to OZ. I have permanent residency. Does anyone know if she can teach with this qualification ?. Apparently if varies state to state and some people have got in...anyone know of anyone would be great

Any positive info would help, willing to teach in any Ozzie State. Heard from GTP that QLD wasa possibility, anyone confirm this ?

I was told by Queensland College of Teachers (the body that deals with registration in Queensland) that SCITT only route (no pgce) was not recognised as it did not give a recognised post grad qualification from a recognised university - the GTP has the same problem. However, here is their email in case you want to contact them yourself - [email protected] - website: http://www.qct.edu.au/index.aspx

TeachNSW told me pretty much the same thing - their website is: https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/employmen...hnsw/index.htm
email: [email protected]

Good luck with it.

Sammy
