Teaching in Michigan US ?

Teaching in Michigan US ?
Hi , I'm currently working as a Primary school teacher in London in the UK. I hope to marry my US fiance on Aug 7th this year with a K1 visa if all goes to plan. I know I will be unable to work straight away but would like to get back into teaching possibly part time or do some subbing. I have been teaching for almost 5 years and in Senior Management for a year.I am also head of Maths and a KS1 Team Leader.
In London teachers are in short supply but i'm not too sure about the US and Michigan to be exact. Has anyone moved from the UK and continued to teach in the US. I believe I would need a certification to work full time but what about subbing ? I've just been getting my transcripts together and would like some advice.
Many Thanks
Shona
