teaching jobs - prospects? early years?

In the uk I am a primary school teacher and have taught all age ranges from reception to year 6 on supply, in a floating role and on permanent contracts. Is there a lot of supply work available in sydney as that is where we plan to live at the moment. How about opportunities for supply work else where such as perth, melbourne or brisbane? Anybody know which area has the best chance of me finding work?

Also worried about being able to live comfortably if we move to sydney. Will a primary school teacher and a travel agent be able to have a comfortable lifestyle in sydney with the cost of living and house prices?

i've seen jobs advertised for early childhood teachers. Would a B.Ed honours degree cover teaching the equivalent of nursery/ reception kids or would i have to retrain/ do i need an early years degree? i think i may want to specialise in early years - are job prospects good in this area? Is there a difference in pay compared with primary school teachers?

Sorry lots of questions i know but if u can offer any advice on any q's that would be great.
thanks lisa
