STUDENT VISA - SECONDARY PGDE
 

Could anyone tell me what visa number I will need to apply for - secondary school post graduate diploma in education. (1 year course)

Also, will I need a medical?

you might need to be a bit more detailed. do you want temp or perm, are you bothered about where u go?

Do you mean you want to study in Oz, or that you've got your PGDE and now want to move and work in Oz?

I am GTP trained in the UK so unrecognised in Australia. I have a 3 yr Nutrition degree and have been accepted on a PGDE secondary course in Perth to start mid term (July). I thought it would be straight forward from here, but the uni think the visa number is 573 and the immi say 572, but I thought that 572 was for a vocational study route... and also the 571 says for school courses??? so really confused.

Also form 1163i says I don't need a medical, yet I have spoken to someone on a student visa (different route altogether) but they said everyone they know had to have a medical?????

Any help would be appreciated!

You will need a medical as you'll be working with children.

For the visa number, try posting the Oz immigration forum, there are always a few agents on there that are v helpful
