Solution request for person with 110 points
Hello all,
I have just posted this on the general immigration forum, but as I am a teacher I thought I would post it here too.
In short, I am still struggling to find a suitable alternative to the visa 175.
I have only 110 points:
25 for age
25 for 7.0+ on IELTS test
60 for occupation on SOL
I am a schoolteacher and have been for the past 9 years, working part-time and working as a supply teacher, working on average about 2 or 3 days per week (and working as a private tutor too, for about 5 hours per week at night time). In short, my work experience does not qualify me for 10 extra points for work experience.
I have checked State Sponsorship as a solution but it seems (correct me if I am wrong) that all of the states that I am interested in (namely, QLD, WA, VIC, and SA) all require evidence of at least 12 months full-time work experience in the last 2 or 4 years, which I don't have. I only have payslips to show that I have worked as a teacher for an average of 2 or 3 days per week during the last 3 years.
Does anybody have a solution?
Kind Regards,
Gary

Could you work full time here in the UK for a 12 months, then apply for state sponsorship?
You could also look at employer sponsorship, but again this would be VERY unlikely.
