Request for advice from Teachers in Perth
I've just been looking at a thread elsewhere, and wondered if any teachers in Perth, or teachers familiar with Perth could give the OP some advice.
The OP is an A Level student in UK looking to move to Perth with their family.
Check it out: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5505483
(I'm sorry if this breaks any 'cross-posting' rules etc, I just wanted to see if we could generate some extra support)

Hello,
if they have finished their A levels and want University, they should be able to get entry to a degree course.
Check out these Universities for suitable courses, and then enquire about admissions:
University of Western Australia
http://www.uwa.edu.au/
Murdoch University
http://www.murdoch.edu.au/
Edith Cowan University
http://www.ecu.edu.au/
Curtin University
http://www.curtin.edu.au/
Or if they can work at home you can do distance education courses at the open universities (similar to UK open university)
https://www.open.edu.au/wps/portal
Other option is college course or apprentiship. But assuming as doing Alevels they may be interested in further study. Lots of options here in OZ. I have kids and feel OZ has lots to offer.

Re: Request for advice from Teachers in Perth
Ps, my son starts year 11 in January, and will do his subjects similar to A level in year 11 and 12. Then exams which will help him gain entry to Uni course.
If you have not fully completed the A levels it is possibe to go straight into Year 12. Thats what I have been told by education person. My son is younger so needs to go into Year 11 and 12.
