Hi,
I am moving over to Brisbane in August. I have done a PGCE and will have been a teacher for two years by the time I move. From what I read on the QCT website, I will only be able to get 'provisional' registration as only teaching in Australia counts towards full registration.
1) Does anyone have any experience of this?
2) Does this mean I will essentially be an NQT again and have to show evidence of meeting standards?
3) What effect does this have on pay i.e. would I only begin on the starting salary because I'm not fully registered?
Thanks very much,
Kris
