Primary teaching in nsw

Hi I am currently waiting for my accreditation to teach in NSW schools. I am primary with 15 years experience and have permanent residency visa. What is the likelihood of getting work when we emigrate at the end of July? My main bulk of teaching has been in catholic primary schools do they have separate accreditation to teach in catholic sector? Any advice on places to look for work gratefully received we are starting off with family in the Hunter Valley region.

Not a typical thing to find a new job in the new place while you are PR holder and have a good experience of 15 years in the teaching profession..

Dear Primary School Teachers,

What is the latest on primary teaching in NSW? Is there much work about in the Hunter Valley region? Me and OH are moving at end of July. Does anyone do relief teaching out there any heads ups? Thank you H:thumbup:

When you arrive, just go around the schools with your CV and your biggest, brightest smile, then it'll all fall into place. Good luck...

haha  You will be very unlikely to secure anything before you arrive in the country, so you may as well get that thought out of your head right now. Be patient, and it will happen, it certainly did for me!
