Pre-Schools - recognised Qualifications?
Can anyone tell me what qualifications they recognise in Australia when working in a Pre-School or as they call them Kindegarten? I have NVQ 3 and wondered if I am able to get a job with this, along with my experience?

Think you will need first aid certificate wherever you go.I intend to try to gain work in kindergarten as a teacher.I know I need to have an early childhood degree for this.I would have thought experience counts for a lot, a good C.V and a willingness to start in a position below where you were in the U.K.HOPE THIS HELPS

Hi Paula
Well you'd need qualification assessing (possibly by VETASSESS) IF NVQ was done over more than 2 years and you completed exams and work assignments then it's fine if not it's a bit of a lottery and can be very doubtful whether it'll pass.
Are you using qualification to gain visa or are have you already got one?
