Silly question, but what age is pre primary in oz classed as.I know it's 3 to 5 years in the UK,but I heard from an Ossie teacher over here she thought it was 3 to 8 years.I she right?

Don't know if this is a term used differently in other parts of Aus, but here in Perth it is the equivalent of the reception year in England or Primary 1 in Scotland.

Cheers for taking the time to reply.Have since found out that NOOSR class pre primary as 3 - 8 years.Got it here in black and white, so feeling pretty confident.
