NQT year with COBIS

Hi, has anyone completed their NQT year (from the UK) abroad through a COBIS school?

Where did you go? Highs and lows? When did they expect you to arrive (end of August, 1st September)?

Also, any tips on the application process? It doesn't open until spring 2022 so I can not see what to expect.

Thanks!!!

Re: NQT year with COBIS

Hi,

I'm also looking to work at an international school what I hear is the schools that are BSO accredited are the ones that do induction year's for NQT teachers. I used to work at a COBIS school in Kuwait IAK my experience is that they don't really endorse it not much on induction year at all and just basically asked to get on with it. However about other COBIS schools abroad I do not know and would love to hear from those who experienced it.

I'm now thinking of teaching at ISQM accredited schools now abroad....
