Which countries accept the GTP?????
 
Hi I have a dregree in English and History and then did the GTP. Im in my 8th year of teaching. My lesson observations are always outstaning as was our last school ofstead. Yet when i went to apply for a New Zealand visa I was informed the GTP is not recognised there. Does anyone know which countries it is recognised in??? I just took it for granted :( Also where els would be a good country to live and teach in?

I think GTP is not recognized abroad, because is not considered as a valid qualification. The best option for you if you want to increase your chances for a teaching job abroad, is to get the PGCE or an MA in education.

As stated above, You will find that that GTP is only accepted in UK. A fact I believe was not made available to those studying through that method when they signed on for it.
