457 to WA in July 2009

Are there any other teachers who are going out to WA in July on the 457 scheme?

I have heard that there were about fifity of us due to go out but I only actually know of three including myself.

It would be nice to chat with others before we leave in June.

Thanks

Lee

Thought only a select few are now going? After the whole 457 visa for teachers going to WA thing being suspended? Have you been given the ok?

Likely they are sorting through those with subjects in most demand. Also how many jobs available.

Well done to those who are coming in July. Its good time to come out as weather not as hot. So you can climatise slowly. Well it worked for us.

Hi Gems
Are there any further updates as to what is going to happen with all the teachers who have been moved onto the waiting list  as that's what it appears to be now
