2 yr BA + QTS - specific/recent work exp

Hi all

Does anybody know whether working as a secondary teacher in the uk is acceptable for the 'recent/specific' work experience requirements. (Only work exp requirements - not the skills rquirement - already have skills in another profession).

The DIMIA requirement is for work experience to be in any job on the SOL.

I know teaching is listed on the SOL - but my teaching qualification is a 2 year BA+QTS - which qualifies me to teach in UK secondary schools - and I have several years experience. Just wondering whether I could use this experience in my application.

Thanks a lot for any help:thumbup:

I would speak to a migration agent!

If you don't need to get a skills assessment for teaching and get one for another occupation, you might be alright.
