What has pissed you off today

Stir frying some spinach with garlic, and as I flipped it, I thought I saw the skin off a garlic clove...dug around and found it and it wasn't garlic...it was a wing...attached to some monstrous flying bug thing. Can only have come from the bag of "triple washed, ready to eat" spinach....

For me - I have an ad up on kijiji selling my gaming tower for a really good price (about $150 canadian less than its worth) and no bites. I had one that I emailed back and forth with for a bit but he has stopped the conversation. I want to get the thing gone so I can sell my laptop and splurge for a high end, big screen touch laptop with good graphics for my driving simulator.

Anyone on here want a gaming tower / decent PC tower?

Mm. Never trust that kind of stuff.

Sometimes if you price things too low people think there's got to be something wrong with it!

Oh and thanks - went and found the classifieds section!

Two weeks before my placement starts the university informs me that I need MRSA swabs and a bunch of vaccinations/serolgy before I can go on prac. Could they not have told us a bit sooner? Like maybe put it in the course outline they sent out in January?
On the plus side, I have my placement at the hospital where I already work, so getting here will be easy. Next time I'm going to go rural which will be fun.

****ing inconsiderate neighbours who thinks its acceptable to be up, with their brats, till 2 in the morning, speaking in normal (ie loud) voices, then go to bed, then row (fight). Got 2 hours sleep last night, and boy were a lot of doors banged, things dropped and toilets flushed at 6 this morning.

In a hair product shop, daughter wanted some detangling stuff. Very irritating, over made up shop assistant with the worse nasally, whining voice offered to help.
Me: We want some detangling spray but can only see this one, do you have any others?
Her: What's wrong with this one?
Me: It's 24 bucks, I'm not paying that amount for that size bottle.
Her: Well, we have this one...
Me: How much?
Her: $32 but we've got a gift pack of it with a free hair brush that's excellent value.
Me: How much?
Her: $34 so you get the spray and the brush comes free.
Me: Soooooo I say I don't want to pay $24 and you offer me something $10 more expensive?
Her: But you get a free brush.
Me: No you don't, you said the spray was $32 so the brush is $2.
Daughter: Oh for gods sake, can we just leave, she's obviously as thick as shit.
We walked out with nothing. Seriously, the daughter hasn't been able to find work since she left school, why does this moronic airhead have a job and she doesn't? How does that work?

Sadly, employers like people who have no up-and-attem spirit. They might question stupidity, and thus challenge piss poor management.

Printer cartridges.
Apparently I need another pink one, but not any old pink one, oh no, its got to be the pink one with the diamond symbol on it. Not a pink one with the square symbol, which would be far too easy as I have 3 unopened ones in my desk drawer..... No, it has to be the diamond one, of which, obviously, I have none

Having planned a dinner party for some friends who are moving on the 21st, so it really has to be next weekend, OH tells me that he is probably going to be flying to New York and London for 2 weeks, due to the resignation of a chief member of staff.
I'll just have to host it by myself- maybe invite another couple so it isn't just the 3 of us plus DD.

A couple weeks I go into the bank to see about upping my debit limit (the amount I can spend in a 24 hour period when sticking the chip card in the machine at the store and buying something) from the meager $300 I was allowed to spend to something more (for lack of a better word) spendable. The lady was very adamant that the last time I was in the bank, she had upped it to $1000. I remembered no such thing. I told her, i'm sorry but I don't remember that. The last time I was in the bank all I did was buy a prepaid visa card. I said nothing about upping my limit. She was determined to disagree, so finally I had her go "check". She goes into the back and comes out and says "Yep, its $1000" (I doubt she actually did anything when she went in back, you'll see why in a minute)
I say OK and leave the bank
Fast forward to today, I get some cash from selling a couple old computers and walk into Best Buy to buy a new touch screen laptop. With the cash I had in hand, plus my $1000 debit limit, I should have been able to afford the laptop. I give the man my cash and he says OK you need to put $950 and change on debit. Just shy of $1000. I put my debit card in the chip, push in my PIN, press "savings account" , and low and behold, transaction denied.
So i'm standing there, the embarrassed little "child" whose debit got declined. Furious, I got on the phone with my bank on my mobile right there in the store, and the guy on the other end says "Your limit is $300" . I told him, it shouldn't be. I visited the branch a couple weeks ago to have the limit increased. He told me that I would have to visit the branch to up the limit to $1000, the best he could do was $600 over the phone. I needed $950 and change. I explained to him that this was unacceptable, I had already visited the ****ing branch, where I was adamantly told it was updated last time I was in, when deep down I knew it wasn't, because I hadn't bloody asked.
So I left the store, not very happy obviously, we'll see what happens tomorrow when I go into the bank.
The Best Buy guy held the laptop for the next 24 hours... The one I want is $200 off at the moment so they are probably flying like hotcakes.
