This is you and me in the pretty floral print with B in the solid (she can be matron of honour) with the beautiful bride.

Apart from waistlines that's closer to us than I'm comfortable with! (disclaimer looking on a phone so not as clear as it could be).

This. I know it's the DM but... this. Any human or religion that thinks this barbaric, evil 'tradition' is in anyway good needs to to be removed from society.

The Catholic church think they shouldn't have to report child abuse. That's evil.

+1
There is no medical necessity for RIC (Routine Infant Circumcision), and, like you said, if its your religious "tradition", it might be time to modernise your beliefs.

FGM is illegal (not to mention horrible) and whilst it is much worse than RIC the latter still should not be practiced. Its an unnecessary, barbaric procedure that for some reason still goes on in modern society.

The country that put Trump in office has also put this man in office. Several times.

"Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny," Mr King wrote on Twitter. "We can't restore our civilisation with somebody else's babies," he added."

Presumably he too now feels emboldened.

And while this sort of garbage is peddled, we do not focus on stuff like this.

Steve King has been saying batshit stuff for years, it's only now that anyone has been paying attention.

Indeed.

It wasn't a new country that suddenly put Trump in office. This stuff has always been around.

Isn't it ALWAYS the simplest requests that people in the slighest possession of authority find impossible to either understand-or carry out.

My OH bought me three golf lesson's for a christmas present. 50 mins each.Yesterday we went along to the club where the pro hangs out and asked for my YD to be included (it would be an extra 50 euro's for 2 people)
It was like we had asked for the constitution to be re-written. She was a young receptionist full of enthusiasm and quite convinced that her English was good enough to argue every point with us. It wasn't.. We spent a good 30 minutes being told that it just was not possible to change the voucher from one to two people for the 15 minute lesson (yes I KNOW it was 50 mins ..but trying telling miss congeniality that )
We had to retire hurt in the end ..with her promising to ring us in the morning (today) to let us know what her supervisor thought?... WTF?...

Of course we did not get a phone call this morning... Pause for scream.

Me. I've pissed myself off.

I'm trying to get a property ready to rent out, and in my usual fashion I've been jumping from one thing to the next and getting myself in a tangle. I've already had a very odd conversation with the painter - odd because I thought I was talking to the electrician. He must think I'm a right knob

I finally ordered the curtains online last night. Late last night. I'd looked at that many web sites my head was spinning. Anyway, I finally ordered them and crossed my fingers that I haven't totally stuffed up the measurements.

Today, I can't remember which website I ordered them from. And I don't have any confirmation emails. So now I have to go to my bank to see who I sent £200 to. I hope they don't say there's been no payment to anyone even vaguely curtain sounding, because that would mean my payment didn't go through and I STILL haven't ordered the curtains.

Don't you sometimes just want to reach across the counter and throttle people? I know I do!

I'm putting this down to the full moon and whatever planet it is going retrograde. YD went into the bank today to ask a simple question about getting a mortgage on a another property once she has sold her apartment. She not only got the head to toe 'stare' but the third degree about her personal status .The woman all but wrenched her hand to see if it had a wedding ring on it. and no., she didn't get any sort of coherent reply...

Yep she and I both wanted to do bodily harm

Yeah, because if she's young and female she needs a man to pay for these things. Frigging old bat.
