Arguing via email? Sounds like a passive-aggressive master class, right there.

Of course, the great thing about emails is, you can hit the delete button as soon as the tone starts getting a bit arsey.

Email is by far my preferred method. Gives me time to edit my responses before they actually come out.

Out of all the possible methods of communication, telephone is way, way at the bottom. I'm actually more likely to ignore you completely than pick up a phone.

That and you don't have to speak to people.

Not a huge fan of people, in general.

You got that right... I learned the hard way when trying to 'help' organise my D's wedding in the USA from my then home in NL A complete nightmare. What we say in an email, and what is then interpreted by the recipient can be two wholly different things. Much prefer FaceTime. You can make faces and stick your tongue out

I don't mind a phonecall if it's something that requires a good explanation, or where the nuances of your voice are needed to get the message across.

I suppose the one benefit of an email is you can't see up the other person's nose because they accidentally angled their phone that way

Why oh why do people queue at the checkout in a supermarket, watch all their trolley load of goods get put through, pack them into their bags and the THINK.. Ohh I've got to pay, mmm now where's my purse.. mm buried at the bottom of one of these bags, then you get 5 minutes of scrabbling round to find said purse, then they check the amount of cash they have and realise there isn't enough, so a sort through the credit and store cards to find a card to pay with.. arghhhhh

Because they hate you. Usually when I'm behind them, that's when they decide they'll write a cheque.

People that write cheques should be escorted to the parking lot and set on fire.

Happened to me the other day. Woman in front of me ran her debit card as a credit card but wanted cash back. Well, instead of canceling the transaction and re-swiping as debit, she just canceled it altogether and decided to write a check for the amount plus whatever cash she wanted. Meh.

I'd already unloaded my cart as well and I wasn't about to pack everything up again and move to a new till, so I just stood there tutting inwardly and indirectly glaring at her. She did apologise for taking longer though, so I'll give her that.
