That is rotten. Hopefully there may have been some CCTV cameras nearby. May all the seagulls and other birds $h1t on the burglars.

Companies who don't contact you before shipping something if they are having trouble with the postal code, and just send it to a pick up point, which is not even in the same city I live in.

1. fridge/freezer repair $2K. Better than paying $4K+ for a new one I suppose. Same tech said $1K to repair washer. Decided to replace it...so charged $260 for looking at it.

2. Teeth cleaning $400.

3. bill for TV/internet/phone $607. Services $400. Taxes $207. 50% taxes. This is because we have just purchased 2 new iPhones which were heavily discounted. sales tax is taken on the original price. WTF

Blimey, does that make dinner too?

When we bought this house it came with a fridge that had an ice and water dispenser in the door. It was the most luxury thing I have ever known.
Cold water and ice. But if you wanted ice in a drink and you wanted it "just so" it was difficult to get just so because of little pieces and what I can only describe as ice dust that could completely upset the right balance of, say, whisky and 7up.
Eventually the dispenser aspect stopped working and then the compressor went. By this time we'd already got used to two fridge-freezers as my MIL brought hers with her when she joined us. To stay at two, I bought a new one for $500 and had an ice maker added to hers. You need to fish the ice out of the container but I get exactly what I want.

My MIL's was already quite old and is now showing signs of limited life left and I decided that that the next one should have a water and ice dispenser in the door again. But the thing is the one I had my eye on is $1250 and for almost the same size, without the dispenser I can get one for $650.

I'm not convinced the water/ice dispenser is worth $600 extra.

Does yours dispense Champagne too?

The only way to achieve the 'right' balance of whisky and 7 Up is to leave the latter out...

I don’t drink champagne...it is not sweet enough for me...but if I could find one that dispenses Grand Marnier that would certainly be a deal breaker.
