Correct. I have heard of Never Winter Nights and Fantasy something or other.
Me though, I'm hip and happening and down with the kids.
Are you having a seance right now and Rik Mayall is speaking through you?

They should sell two types, one of which has "it's for flu, honest" printed on them.

Guess it could be worse, if not for disability it would have been like 5,000 in total for the year.

I LOVED Neverwinter Nights ::reminisces:: and yes, Rik Mayall and I have ongoing conversations. I can still quote most of the scripts of The Young Ones lol.

it does piss me off that he's dead. Strangely, I dreamed about Ade Edmonson last night, he was in his Eastenders character and we were watching The Young Ones, while a storm raged overhead, which blew away our BBQ (for some reason it was plumbed into the gas main that we don't have and it caused a fire that set alight the towels on the washing line that isn't there). I blame my medication.

Oh heck. Ade featured in one of my dreams last night, but just the Vyvyan shouty bits, no combustibles involved.

This is likely not a medication linked incident, unless you were sampling Luxembourg Riesling beforehand?

Please say no

Either that's absolutely normal or we've both gone bonkers.

I have dreams about my old house but it's always different on the outside and even more different on the inside...like there's an extra floor and additional rooms even on t he floors that were there.

I have dreams about a couple of old offices I worked in and the layouts are entirely different.

Oh...there was one time when I still worked at one of them when one part was exactly as it was except for one small detail. There was a bus stop there.

Inside. Then a double decker bus passed through.

It's a strange world. Make a jokey comment and then real life comes along and does it better.

You're quite safe - although wine did feature last night it was neither from Luxembourg nor a Riesling!

I kind of love having bonkers dreams. When I was a kid, I dreamed a lot about the next door neighbour turning into a werewolf, but it got so I could recognise I was in a dream and change events. Leonardo DiCaprio had nothing on me.

My brother ( the prof) ..whilst I am profoundly grateful for all his help in my recent heart situation.. is totally pissing me off by sending up to six emails a day gloating about Brexit.... I have told him that it's over.. Please cease and desist, as I am not interested ,and am in fact 'grieving about my dog dying '... Does he listen ? NO. Insensitive bastard is now quickly replacing 'helpful brother' in my vocabulary.

Dentists. My wife has a tooth that a dentist botched several years ago doing a root canal, fast forward to 2018 and new dentist said nothing I can do its too complicated, sent her to a root canal dental specialist, who spent a year treating the tooth for an infection, end of 2019 goes in for her appointment to have root canal done, specialist decides a root canal can't be done, thanks for not saying this in the previous visits before collecting $1,100 in fees.

Specialist sends report and x-rays back to regular dentist who reviews tooth and report, extraction is too complicated and the regular dentist isn't comfortable doing it, sends report and x-rays to a dental specialist who also isn't comfortable removing the tooth.

She just keeps getting bumped around by Canadian dentists, she has found 3 in the US who say its a moderate extraction but they can do it, but the price is insane and our coverage wont cover work done outside of BC, and was way more expensive then we thought it would be.

She had an evaluation done at the university dental school, that happened by coincidence considering first contact with them was March or April 2019, they just happened to call at the right time, but its to complicated for students so they wont touch it either.

Who would have thought a dentist could botch a root canal so bad that other dentists and dental specialists wont even remove it?

They all do say the tooth cannot be saved, but its beyond their comfort zone to remove, are Canadian dentists not being trained in complicated procedures? Never thought pulling a tooth would be so hard.....

Luckily as there is only 1 root and its mostly dead the pain is very mild and she has a fairly high pain tolerance so pain isn't a big issue, and some herbal oil stuff seems to calm it down when it does hurt.

I believe that when 1 dentist makes a mess another 1 does not want to touch it afraid of complications which might have been caused by the first one.
If you see what I mean.

The problem there is if the tooth abscesses, that can be nasty. Affordable dental care should be available in wealthy countries such as Canada (and Australia!)
