I realize I am in a tiny minority here, but David Letterman retiring......so frigging what?
I've never liked the guy, never found him funny, and this months-long build up to his last show is really getting on my tits. All he does is robotically read a not very funny script, then look meaningfully at the camera to tell the audience that "now would be an appropriate time to laugh", while those buffoons play the "laugh now" music just in case anyone missed the cue...
This hero worship / adulation is beyond me.....
I've never liked the guy, never found him funny, and this months-long build up to his last show is really getting on my tits.
