I know, but why mention it in the context of this event?

Because we are on a discussion thread, and personally I am fed up with the poor being lodged in shoddy housing. It makes me angry.

Your mileage may differ.

I’ll pass rather than argue the point of others’ misery within this context.

Mostly lurking. Politics these days is so ****ing depressing, the occasional shitpost is all I have to keep me going.

Also, **** the Tories, **** the DUP and so on. Seriously though, if May thinks that getting into bed with the UDA is a viable option for forming a government, the Tories need a new leadership election like yesterday.

1979 -- Callaghan 269 seats, resigned.

1992 -- Kinnock 271 seats, resigned.

2017 -- Corbyn 262 seats, ................claims victory & orders the winner to resign 😂

I don't know how you managed it but it's not what was suggested in even the most speculative of sources so it doesn't even make the grade as fake news. It's fake fake news.

The Council spent £83,000 per flat upgrading these "shoddy" places only last year.

Clearly this is a terrible fire, however yours and Corbyn's attempt to make political hay out of it is disgraceful.

I haven't made hay of any kind as far as I know.

Trouble is, a new leadership election now makes them appear even weaker than they already do, especially with negotiations due to start with the EU so soon. They are truly in a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" situation.

My heart bleeds....

CNBC
So in what way does that back up Geni's claim that Nigel Farage is taking part in the talks currently going on between the DUP and the Tories? Or has there been a change in the meaning of "taking part"?
