Distressingly easy to make yourself look stupid? I don't doubt many people get nervous and stumble through things, but her problem is it's been multiple attempts and her general quality of presentation in interviews (no, not looks, what and how she says things) is really poor for someone who (in that article) clearly isn't a total idiot.
Very strange. Shame that someone so potentially excellent and distinguished...isn't.

Not recent but recently been diagnosed.
I am hoping not early onset of dementia. She is diabetic .
No. I am not making any sort of fun. Why would I.
To lose yourself for whatever reason at the pinnacle of what you have spent your life working for is not something to ridicule or denigrate.
Sort yourselves out people.
In a few years or so that could be you suddenly.

Another view from "outside the bubble"
Don’t be fooled by the U.K. election: There’s nothing democratic about Brexit
Brexit may have been envisioned as a means of restoring democracy and sovereignty to the British people, but that is far from what is actually happening.

Bizarre how the latest "House of Cards" series is similar to UK rather than US situation...

Get a grip! Apart from demonization and possible discrimination, I fail to see why comments on Diane Abbot are continuing. She had a bad campaign, she performed badly, she may well be having a personal crisis.
Whilst she is one of the better known Corbyn supporters and shadow home secretary, she is not in a position of authority. Were Labour to form a government she is not a shoe-in as home secretary and even if she were to be given the post, it is hardly a job for life. Nor does it carry some form of divine authority.
There are bigger issues at stake today than bitching about one candidate...... unless, of course, it's a diversionary tactic.

They were only "suggestions", as most Britons now know.
