We can all argue the pros and cons of removing regulation, and handing power to key business sectors.

However, IMO the bigger problem for america now is that the world can no longer rely on the US to stick by its commitments. Sign a climate agreement? A treaty? A trade deal? Next president can wipe it all out with the stroke of a pen.

Who in their right mind would want to sign anything with the US? (OK, maybe Britain, but only because it has no choice).

But what about those that represent key trade relationships (e.g., the EU, China, ASEAN)? I'd have to believe they'd be very cautious about entering into any deals with such an unpredictable partner...

This is why Canada is sitting back and not saying too much. If the US becomes to protectionist and pisses off to many countries well guess where those countries might invest in and do trade with.

He called Climate Change " a hoax " many times during his campaign & he will obviously as some time in the future make further stupid comments over it.
I just hope he picks directly on a "Climate Change Scientists" & insults them as he seems to do to everybody who fails to agree with him ,because that person can now take legal action !

I don't like these gagging orders, that's for sure.

Follow the alternative Twitter accounts of:

US Fish & Wildlife - https://twitter.com/AltUSFWS

National Park Service - https://twitter.com/AltNatParkSer

EPA - https://twitter.com/ActualEPAFacts

I believe the NPS one is definitely NPS employees tweeting from a private account. Not sure about the other 2 - could be employees or could be copycats, of course.

There's also a Badlands one which is freaking hilarious - https://twitter.com/BadIandsNPSFans

From the article (tweeted by Albright) "There is no fine print on the Statue of Liberty ..."

It is, however, inscribed with the words: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free ...", but it is not followed with "... from government approved regions only." L'Orange really should brush up on this history of this country which he for some reason won an election in by claiming isn't already great ...
