Bandwagon comes to mind...Lets hitch our filthy poisonous product to it ,as we are falling behind in mega profits now our main target (kids) are finding out that the drink kills you.

Other than those thoughts....

To be accurate it is an identity perceived by others.
What psychologists and surgeons have to be as certain as possible before irreversible treatment is that the young person really does have an inborn need to be a different identity to that given to them (and it usually is inborn) and not just a passing 'whim'.

Identity is two way, but primarily defined by the individual in relation to the environment. It's the passing whim which is the issue, and such whims are normalised by things like the Coke campaign or society being overly open to it.

More to the point... If the babe were the Coca Cola CEO who authorised that advert, would he kill himself? Live miserably on his fat salary? Or would he seek out a process by which he could change sex and live contentedly?

Babe: you missed the point of my post. Was that deliberate?

Why don't you ask RT what they think?

I'd be happy if people would just realise that there's a difference between sex and gender!

I think Diet Coke's fine. Sugar is the toxin. I know there's some bad rap about sweetners, but I don't think they're as bad as they say.

You could say the same thing about tea and coffee-----it is the caffeine----it causes arrhythmias. Obviously depends how much you drink.

Lots of tea, lots of coffee too. Maybe I don't have much longer? Just noticed the chef Gary Rhodes passed, and he's not much older than me.
