Jeez Gordon, you've really been popping the acid since leaving Philip Schofield and the Broom Cupboard.....

I had a quick look at the source website. They're ****ed-up.

I had to use Google to find out who Phillip Schofield and the Broom Cupboard were or was. That's thirty seconds I'll never get back!

This reminds me of when all internet searches were done by gophers.

I agree with the tone of the article. I think there's far too much promotion of transgender to young people who already have enough on their plates with (binary) sexuality. As for Coke, yes very profit seeking, I'd prefer if they didn't wade in.

OK.

So if the OP had the feeling that he was born the wrong sex, and this caused him crippling depression, what would he do?
Would he kill himself? Live miserably?
What process exists for him to change sex and live contently? #transitioning

There was a segment on Newsnight last night, on people who had physically transitioned with surgery, hormone therapy etc., and later come to the conclusion they’d made a terrible mistake. I didn’t actually watch it, after my bedtime, but that possibility should be considered by someone before they commit to irreversible treatment..

Yes, there been some media on that lately. I think people often lump trans in with homosexuality, and think we're more enlightened on that so we should think the same with trans. The difference is one is mere sexual preference, the other is fundamentally changing identity.
