Expatrick seems to have something he is aiming for, rather than the passive-aggressive walk in the woods why does he not just come out with his own thoughts on the subject?

I left school 22 years ago, so I'm not getting involved in this one, but it just looked to me like he was getting some data from you for context.

I'm off to go smoke a fag in the 6th form bogs anyway, you guys fight among yourselves.

Ah, this is the evasion prior to the admission of a "genuine misunderstanding"!

Your original point of no delay is clearly ridiculous.

Tbh all you need is a few more car manufacturers to shut down and you won't need the ''just in time'' delivery any more so who cares about delays ...
Problem solved

To be fair I don't think he understands the issue fully - not that any of us do really.

This becomes obvious when he says things like 'we will just do XYZ'. When it's not us who can fix this.

This EU thing comes across as more like a religious war of old, Protestants vs Catholics whatever, more a tribal belief type issue.

I would have thought reasonable people could agree that the EU is not all good or bad and there is a discussion to be had.

Indeed , which us the view of most who voted to remain.
On balance better to stay.
Compared to the " give us back our laws, our sovereignty, end EU dictatorship, nonsense espoused by Brexiters..

And a queue is a good place to consider flow dynamics....

If you have a checkout queue at Tesco, and the customers take an average of 4-5 mins each to be served, it's easy enough to open more checkouts when its busier because the checkouts are set up for that and there are already workers on other departments who are checkout-trained. Simples.

Customs posts at ferry ports don't have the extra inspection bays or staff to hand, and won't have by October. The additional bays take room the ports don't have available, and staff need to be trained.

It's alright though, it's not a cost to Honda. It's all free.

Oh, the sun rises in the west? I suppose if you hold the compass upside down... See? Proof. And anyone who suggests you might be holding the compass upside down is clearly a remainiac (or other of the many ad-hom terms you use to characterise to anyone who'd suggest you've got the compass upside down).

On the other side of the ditch, I think Rotterdam has been preparing for it for so long they're pretty much ready to roll ...
