US healthcare interests? Oh, wait. That's probably quite underestimated. Especially with the pound decline and all. But it might help.

What are your thoughts on your apparent desire to punish those not voting by denying them another opportunity?

Not sure what the point of putting down manufacturing sticks in post-brexit UK would be. Chaotic and unpredictable political climate and unstable currency, low productivity, limited labour pool, many tariff and non-tariff trade barriers to European markets access (which would be the only reason to establish manufacturing in the region in the first place).

Even top Brexiteers see manufacturing in the UK as "dead" in a post-brexit world.

The underlying vision seems to be some kind of "Singapore", but even Singapore finds that notion delusional.

Wishful thinking isn't going to make it all OK.

If Boris wins number Ten is the UK heading for a Hard Brexit?

It doesn't feel like the EU will give up anything meaningful to make Brexit happen. And Boris Johnson is not going to agree to a second referendum which leaves only a hard Brexit

Who knows, he's a natural liar and cheat so whatever he says comes with a truckload of salt.
I wonder if he will accept this debate invitation on channel 4 sometime this weekend (I think).

Every time I see a photo of Rory Stewart it reminds me of Steve Bell's drawings of Tony Blair. Mind you, Tony Blair now looks like Steve Bell's drawings of Tony Blair, too.

Has anyone ever seen Rory Stewart and Tony Blair together in the same room?

Those that don't bother to vote can only be assumed to have the same intentions as those that did - twas ever the way in our democracy.

What are your thoughts on your apparent desire to punish those not voting by denying them another opportunity?
There are none because they are not being "punished".

Perhaps other factories will start producing more, or new factories for the .com cars will arise - the new Dyson electric!
Which he will manufacture in Malaysia, in his mega vacuum cleaner and other Dyson products. factories.
So your post brexit UK manufacturing dream has become " perhaps ".
Is that the new Brexit mantra, " perhaps it will be better "., perhaps migration wiill fall, perhaos perhaps perhaps perhaps.🤔

The more I stare at them, the more they all start to look like psychopaths.

I wish you hadn't posted that. I went back and had another look and you're dead right

Mind you, on that score Boris looks the least psychopathic. Or the one you'd least suspect of being one anyway, so the one you'd probably most have to suspect if it was a TV crime series. Good job it isn't though, eh?

Oh, hang on a minute ….

I might be being slightly unkind but I find Rory Stewart to bear more than a passing resemblance to the alien monster in The Man Trap - the first ever transmitted episode of the original Star Trek series.
