At least it could be used as a temporary night shelter. The benches are, after all, quite comfy.

Local offices of US Healthcare, Big pharma, & food adulteration, Boeing Corp, Blackrock and State Dept.
They just issue the orders down the hall to the slobbering blonde monkey & arse scratching troupe, and things get done 'The American Way. It's what people voted for - that and being run down by those with Diplomatic Immunity.
What's the Problem ???

I can just imagine all those special people that grace the HOL having to travel oop North to conduct their duties. God knows what they would make of the lunch and dinner menus.

There was something in the article about it becoming permanent though. Perhaps they could tour the nation like the England football team did when Wembley was being revamped.

They could just live on a band bus, and have gigs around the country. Excellent idea.

Yet another justification for HS2?

The food probably won't be up to much though.

That's ok, they would be The People's House of Lords. They can cater from Iceland. The shop, not the country.

Right, so new taste tantalisers in Iceland stores for spring 2020, "Whippets in blankets".

Has a certain ring to it.

No, that wouldn't work. When it comes to frozen food Iceland has no peer.

Forget about the lunch and dinner, who is going to fund all the vaccinations needed?

The focus, imo, should be on their theft of EU Citizenship, the intended but undefined new Nationality laws linked to ethnicity. and intended withdrawal from the ECHR.
Set in this context, your thread appears to have been taken over by those dedicated to nationalism imo..
You can't steal something which doesn't exist.

I am legally a citizen of the EU, which affords me some important rights under the law. But then, I have a German passport. My British passport will soon become irrelevant, so I'm lucky to have had the foresight to have initiated the long process of making it official just after the referendum.

I would have thought you are a German citizen and a British citizen. Do you have a European Citizen passport too?

Yes. I have two. One only has a few days left, but the other ensures I will remain an EU citizen.
