That's the problem with government spending..... the numbers are so huge they become meaningless. However, who is going to "profit" from any spend?...... certainly not Begum.

The Daily Mail reader froths at the mouth at someone fraudulently claiming a few quid on benefits, yet the millions lost in tax avoidance go without much comment. That's why it was such a good stunt to exaggerate the contributions to Europe, whilst not mentioning any benefits or putting the spend in context.

I would think it a small sum to establish the legality of such qn unusual law as this. Taking away citizenship of a legal citizen based on their politics/crimes should have a process, that's not going to be cheap.

That process had already been followed as far as I understand.

I'm not a christian, nor an adherent of any religion, but if I understand the rule book correctly Jesus would not have asked the price of justice.
