Carry on whinging. The majority who did vote voted to leave.

It's bloody obvious that 99.9999% of leave voters voted leave. The last .0001% were those who mistakenly chose remain. And those votes don't count anyway.

Besides, Remain voters should never have been allowed to vote, because that's about the same as allowing say, Russians to vote. Very undemocratic.

And it's only remainiacs who claim it wasn't a landslide for leave. Leave voters know they voted for leave and that's why remainers look so stupid now.

So, you've all just been "comprehensively schooled".

Don't worry, it's just their way of trying to justify why democracy should be ignored and why the referendum was not valid - it starts off with "37%" (trying to use a measuring system we never use when it comes to elections - adding-in all those who didn't vote and assuming 100% of them were for remain), it then goes on via "advisory" (ignoring parliamentary votes to have the ref, the Gov saying in writing it would enact any result, parliamentary votes to enact Art 50 and the 2017 GE with the main parties running on respecting the ref manifestos), then we get the "they cheated" (based upon fines for the leave campaigns, ignoring fines for the remain campaigns, both sets of which were administrative and small), then a general whinge about the people didn't know what they were voting for/were fooled/were ignorant (as if that was any change than normal - and note only those voting differently than them were fooled) and then onto a "people's vote" or "confirmatory" vote because the exact form of leave, which could never be known pre-ref, was not exactly voted-for. This final insult, instead of requiring a vote between which type of leave - deal or no-deal - for some reason must also include an option to remain, so is basically a do-over.

It's been an interesting playbook with the elites, who overwhelmingly voted to remain, flexing their muscles to overturn the democratic vote.

Blimey.

Just look at THAT!

That's - what? - three quarters of the country DIDN'T vote for Brexit. That's quite astonishing.

No wonder it's proving a little difficult to ram through.

I'm sure the same graph would be available for when we voted in 1975. It would have meant nothing then as well.

It'd be a different graph, surely? And it seems to have meant quite a lot over the past few decades.

Good to see you think this one might soon be irrelevant though

It really is quite incredible that people are whinging still about the result.

The remainiac is a bit like a petulant child who always gets what they want, it's very hard for them to comprehend they aren't getting what they want in this instance.

I'm sure they will. In any event they can play with the figures as much as they wish, draw as many charts as they wish, whinge as much as they wish but the bottom line will always be that the majority of those who bothered to vote voted to leave. It's called democracy.

No, no - apparently you're wrong and more democracy would be to vote again (and doubtless again if that was also lost).

Look, if you guys want to leave, then leave. It looks like that's increasingly likely anyway. It will take years of course, probably a decade, and England will become increasingly irrelevant at an even faster pace, but you all knew that when you voted.

So, go. And don't go blaming remainers for it. Aside from the absurdity of that deflection of responsibility, (and the absurdity of the entire exercise), your minority did this to the majority, all by yourselves. You "won". Now live with it.
