No, L.i.W. - Why bother with pills? Just wire the kids up to the electricity supply or water board 'em.... That's the American Way, Right???

Strange, this facility used to be a short stay foster home for kids in the CPS care system that were either hard to place in foster care because of almost aging out or because they were sibling groups. I had no idea it had changed. I do test a water sample from there every month, they are not good at paying their bill that's for sure!

I'm a bit confused. Trump signs an Executive Order stopping kids being separated from parents but up till now, he and his mates have been insisting that nothing can be done until the Democrats change their laws. First, I wasn't aware the Democrats were able to bring any laws in during their term due to the Republicans preventing them from doing so, secondly I wasn't aware this was a law and thirdly, how has he now got the power to change this law that isn't a law?

Where do the tents for the tent cities come from? Could they be military? Or at least acquired along the same supply line? Whose budget is financing this fiasco?

It's worse than that. Today he signed an executive order to stop himself from doing what he invented in his sick head about a month ago and implemented out of the thin blue air. And, wait for it, now we're supposed to thank him for stopping that horrible thing that he made himself do. Let that sink in.

But still his supporters are saying what great work he's doing and Fox people are making jokes about the camps. Why my brain hasn't exploded is beyond me.

It is not.

This morning driving into work and listening to NPR I cried. Hearing those babies sobbing, listening to a young girl reciting a phone number and then hearing a total jerk announcing "it's like an orchestra in here"

Holding children hostage to get your damn wall is as low as you can get.

What we're 'supposed' to do is ignore the fact that the United States of America ran concentration camps for children right under our noses in the ****ing clean open because he finally listened to whatever adviser saw reason and decided to put a stop to it. What was done can't be undone with just a snap of tiny, orange fingers and we shouldn't allow ourselves to forget this so easily. An absolutely sickening stain on the rich and varied history of this country, IMO.

........... Is running concentration camps for children so much worse than running concentration camps, full stop? Is it OK that now whole families can all sit and suffer together..... it's an improvement, but like only being shot once in the head, rather than twice.

Like the swivel-eyed anti-migrants in the UK, people think clamping down on illegals will deter further migration due to fear of the consequences. What they don't realise is, life is so sh*t for these people that any chance seems better than none....

No, it really isn't when you put it like that. Shouldn't really give the orange twat any concessions on this one. But as I said, what's done can't be undone just so anyway, even if there was to be a massive, measurable improvement in conditions.

Right. Desperate people tend not to think about consequences anyway, when the end justifies the means.

theresa may, is no better

she introduced draconian law so that I and my two youngsters have to stand outside the british cage and stare at their mum inside the cage. Her crime crime is to be married to a brit and have his kids. Before anyone tells me about the financial requirements I would like to see those requirements imposed on UK families, that could be interesting as those that do not meet those requirements can live in exile

I could be mistaken, but I don't believe May is responsible for the financial requirements of spouse visas.
