Trump got his ass handed to him on the recent budget that was passed. Gotta love it.

Even for Trump this one is bizarre. You are right how his question betray his ignorance, but it also shows, that he thinks no one else has ever asked those questions before. He seems to expect brownie points for being the first person to ever even contemplate the question. He thinks it shows him in a good light.

This is article shows how the Republicans in Congress lack any political courage, any vision to effect change, and why term limits are necessary. And Trump certainly showing that whatever negotiating skills he has, certainly aren't too successful in the political arena. I wonder how conservative pundits will report on this ?

Very bizarre. Perhaps he should visit a good library once in a while and read a bit about the history of the country he is supposed to be the leader of.

On the contrary, he should be working to improve Obamacare. Of course, that doesn't allow him to "win" by undoing everything Obama did, so we'll end up with some grotesque law that increases the number of uninsured and screws those with pre-existing conditions. But, hey, Trump will have "won".

His second vote on healthcare is in danger now. 22 GOP are 'no votes' and something like a dozen are on the fence. If 2 of the fence sitters vote no with the other 22...the bill fails.

I agree he should be working to improve ObamaCare but the GOP Congress never wanted it since the day of it's inception and of course Trump's in a corner on this one. He said so many times during the election campaign that it would be repealed because it was "bad, bad" so now it would only make him look bad if went back on his word to repeal it completely.

Sad to say the Freedom Caucus in Congress will only go along with the rest of the GOP if the new plan has been brutally altered from what the ACA originally was. I'm sure the number of insured will decrease.

It will all come back to haunt them and may well be a factor in Trump becoming a mediocre one term President

There is some consensus that should this new bill pass...the Repubs could lose the House. The Senate may rebel though.

It clearly is not just Trump that is a clueless idiot.

"Trump’s secretary of commerce on Monday referred to the U.S. strike on a Syrian airbase as “after-dinner entertainment” for him and other guests at Mar-a-Lago the night of April 6. Speaking Monday at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles, Sec. Wilbur Ross fondly recalled the events at President Trump’s resort the night the U.S. military fired 59 Tomahawk missiles at one of the Syrian government’s strategic airbases. “Just as dessert was being served, the president explained to Mr. Xi he had something he wanted to tell him, which was the launching of 59 missiles into Syria,” Ross said, according to Variety. “It was in lieu of after-dinner entertainment.” The crowd reportedly laughed, and Ross added: “The thing was, it didn’t cost the president anything to have that entertainment.”
