So how many of you will be moving north to Canada if Trump wins
Seems like every election you have the phrase often heard if X wins Im moving to Canada.
Just leave your guns at the border if you decide to move.

I wont be one of them. Moving north means moving to a nation led by Justin Trudeau. I remember his father Pierre Elliot, an overgrown hippie and political weirdo. In Justin's case it's like father like son.

I'll stay here and see Trump out after four years. Also I'm too old to be drafted for the next war this nincompoop will get us into

Hey Hey since Justin has been elected everything is Unicorns, Rainbows and kisses in Canada. We are just about to accept our 25,000th Syrian Refugee from when we started accepting them since November 2015.
We are just about to embark on a spend a shit load of money on trying to stimulate our economy and investing in infrastructure. Our dollar has tanked against your greenback so now we are not spending as much money in your country and propping up your economy by buying goods or retirement homes in your warmer states

I love Canada, but why is the beer so mediocre? Alexander Keith's IPA, for instance. Alexander Keith's is Not an IPA Petition

OMFG an American talking about the quality of Canadian beer

Im more of a amber/dark rum drinker not connoisseur so I rarely drink beer. I grew up drinking either pints of bitter, mild, Guinness or lager in my younger years. Asking which is a good beer to drink is like asking how long is a piece of string? A lot of Canadians I know now prefer to drink the local craft beers as opposed to mainstream brewers. Even Canadians take the piss out of their own major brewers. A famous cartoon shows a Canadian Moose drinking beer (Molson) and having a piss at the same time and the piss is labelled Labatts.

They do. Lots of them. Just a bit harder to get than in the US, but it's a myth that America's hat isn't just as well armed as they are here.

We have lots of them though not as many handguns. We cannot just go into our local Walmart and hand over a driving licence and say I want a gun
Only law enforcement and certain security officers can openly carry a handgun.
Don't worry we have our own problems with guns and we have had a couple of school shootings. As for gun control well thats another story.
A criminal in any country will not legally buy or register a firearm of any description nor store it securely. As for ordinary law abiding citizens they can have them if they meet certain criteria.

That sentence right there is really all that needs to be said about gun control. Canada can serve as a demonstration that it can work, and we can all finally move on to some important issues like poverty, employment, housing and infrastructure.

Well, most U.S. "craft beer" is mediocre/undrinkable too. Or, ridiculously too strong. Or flavoured with fruit & crap. Or described as "pilsener" but actually has absolutely no pilsener characteristics. But my experience has been, Canadian is even more mediocre. I have to admit, most of my recent experience is limited to Ontaro and Quebec.

I'm in England, and you can get a very decent pint at most pubs here in Norfolk.
