Having received a email from friends who live in the deep south with details of churches in their area who were comparing allah to satan and the koran as the works of satan it is no wonder that the popularist ignorant views of Trump are lauded in some areas of the states.

I saw a documentary about him on the weekend, the man's a psychological whoopee cushion. Electing him president would be on a par with pulling the pin out of a grenade and then hoping it doesn't go off.

Maybe that's the general idea.

Just think about it, a chain of Catholic Leisure centres right across Europe.

The Pope did not make a political statement he referred to Trumps views as being unchristian.
As usual Trump acted like one of those dolls with a spinning head dolls contradicting himself regarding the Pope in less than 24 hours.
Trump also appears unable to remember what it is he is supposed to be saying just reading from the speech written by one of his staff.
I am waiting for the time he reads out not only " Donald Trump says " but also "pause for cheers "from a crowd of ignorant rednecks from a state has probably never heard of and where he will never return

Those who prefer to build walls are not Christian.

Remind me again what separates Vatican City from the rest of Rome?

Hes a religious leader, how can he keep out of politics, religion is politics.

Anyway, what amused me was all the right wingers telling the Pope to mind his own business, the same people who moan and groan about the lack of Christian values in everyone they dont like.

Exactly.

Meanwhile the Pope goes back to the immense wealth of the Vatican/Catholic church...while many of his followers live in extreme poverty.

Vote for Ted Cruz who was born in Calgary Alberta Canada. At least he would know how to say sorry if he made a mistake. He might also be able to get you a good deal on all things Canadian like Maple Syrup, Poutine and Tim Hortons coffee and donuts.
