My theory is that Trump hasn't been taking the covid tests daily. Think about it. Is he really going to suffer the indignity (and sometimes pain) of a daily nose assault? It's more in keeping with what we know to assume he made everybody else around him be tested but put himself above it. Which could mean that he may have been positive for a while. Which would explain why his symptoms are so severe so quickly.
